Home School Conventions
The Education Alliance is host to Arkansas' only annual home school conventions: One in Searcy, Arkansas and one in Springdale, Arkansas.
Home school conventions offer families the opportunity to interact with other home schoolers from around the state, attend workshops and seminars on home education--with topics ranging from how to start home schooling
to how to get into college--and find good deals on the latest curricula. Attendees also have the opportunity to stop by the Education Alliance booth to ask experienced individuals tough questions they have about
home schooling in Arkansas.
Registration for conventions is done on a per-family basis, is good for the entire weekend of the convention you choose to attend, and will give you and your family access to the Exhibit, all of the workshops and
every other benefit the convention has to offer. You may register online by following the steps below, or you may wait and register at the door the day of the convention. Bear in mind however, that we offer
Early Bird discounts to those who register online before May 1, so you may not want to delay too long.
Below is an overview of the upcoming home school conventions. You can use it to register, review schedules, and learn more about the services that the Education Alliance has to offer through these events.

The EA Booth
The Education Alliance has a booth set up at the home school convention. At this booth, you will be able to:
-
Request a personal Home Educator Card. These nifty cards are free with a donation of any amount to the Education Alliance.
You can request and pick up your card before you leave the convention!
-
Talk to the experts. Our staff and volunteers are very experienced in answering home school questions. They spend their time researching the issues
that matter to you. Stop by to ask them questions, find out more about home schooling, and learn exactly resources are available to you.
-
Register for the Silent Auction. You can find out about the Silent Auction simply by stopping in at Education Alliance's booth and asking one of our staff
members.
-
Order MP3s and CDs. Did you miss a workshop you really wanted to hear? Was there a General Session you wanted to attend, but couldn't? No problem!
Just order an MP3 or CD copy of talk. You can find out more stopping by and talking to one of our team members.
